We met Susan as the seller's agent at an open house we attended, and her no-pressure style drew us back to seek her assistance in buying. She helped us transition from renting to owning a house in Westchester, filling a lot of gaps in knowledge along the way. We didn't know exactly what we wanted, but had some ideas of things that were appealing and things we knew we didn't want. She helped us figure it out by listening to us and learning our concerns and desires as we visited houses together. Susan always stayed on top of new listings, found reasonable options for us, and let us know if one would sell quickly and we'd need to move on it if we wanted it. She had lists of contacts for services we needed (lender, inspector, etc.) and her recommendations were always good and very prompt in responding to us. Perhaps the greatest part about working with her was having an ethical agent on our side who guided us through the process with the best intentions and within our own standards of integrity. We have kept in touch with her as we begin improvements on our new home!

We have used Susan Reddy as buyers (twice) and as a seller (once). We met Susan in 2009, when she patiently saw us through the process of purchasing our first home. We knew nothing about home ownership, and she advised us wisely and calmly every step of the way. We loved our first house, but outgrew it after six years, so naturally we turned to Susan to help us sell it and to find a new house in Pelham. She helped us stage our home, advised us to hold out for our asking price, which we got, and we had a deal in less than 30 days after going on the market. 

After the sale of our house was completed, Susan (who had been showing us houses informally for a year already, to help us information-gather) and we began our search in earnest. After about a month, we found the perfect home in Pelham, and were able to close on both the house we were selling and the house we were buying within weeks of each other. 

My favorite thing about Susan (and it's hard to choose just one) is that she never pressured us - it never felt like she was trying to "sell" us something. She was always honest about shortcomings in houses, as well as their advantages, and her vast knowledge of the area (where most homes are old) was a big help in assessing value. She is unflappable, and a genuinely lovely person in every way. I would (and have) recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a house in Westchester.
